WELCOME TO THE 2023 NORDIC
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP IN OSLO

Welcome to the Nordic Championships in Three-Cushion Carom 13-15 October 2023 which is held in Oslo and organized by the Norwegian Billiards Federation in collaboration with Oslo BK.

A total of 24 participants according to the following distribution:

Denmark 10 participants
Sweden 8 participants
Norway 4 participants
Finland 2 participants

All player registrations are done by the respective national federations. National federations are to register players no later than 15th September, by email to jobjornstad@hotmail.com.

The registration should indicate player name and confirmed registered average. Open spots will be filled by Norwegian participants.

The games were skilfully arranged and floated without interruptions or delays. Four out of four tables also streamed the matches live on Cuescore and Youtube.

The tournament layout is as follows. It is played with 8 initial groups with 3 players in each. 8 players are seeded according to the reported average and the remaining 16 players are drawn into the 8 groups. The players judge for themselves in the group games. Distance in the groups 30 points with equal innings. Maximum 40 innings. Placement in the groups is determined by match points and then averages.

In the playoffs, the 8 group winners are seeded as No. 1 to 8.
The twos are seeded as No. 9 to 16. The distance in the playoffs is 40 points with equal innings. In case of a draw, the match is decided with Shoot Out.

The OneTwo3 Nordic Championships in 3-cushion billiard is organized by the Norwegian Billiards Federation and Oslo Billiard Club.

Through the competition's press service, the competitors, sponsors and the media have also gained access to image and graphic material as well as useful web links which have been a great help to the other federations in the Nordic countries.
